Polkadot (DOT) is consolidating around crucial support – Here is why it could surge by nearly 50%

Image
As the broader crypto market continues to show some signs of life, Polkadot (DOT) has been consolidating gains around a very crucial support zone, a move that could trigger a 50% rally in the near term. The token is however facing several downside risks including slowing investor sentiment. Here are some notable highlights though: Polkadot (DOT) is holding strong above the crucial support of $15 and has done so for the past few days. At the time of writing, the coin was trading at $17 albeit it had dropped by about 6% in 24-hour intraday trading. If indeed these gains are sustained, DOT could surge by nearly 50% in the coming few days or weeks. Data Source: Tradingview.com  Polkadot (DOT) – price analysis and prediction The slump in January for DOT has been quite astonishing. In fact, between January 16 and January 24, the token lost almost 45% of its value in a massive bloodbath in the crypto market.  But we are starting to see some signs of recovery. Crucial...

Terra (LUNA) is in free fall right now – Time to buy?

Image
The crypto winter in January has seen many coins lose value. However, even though we are starting to see some price stability in the broader market, Terra (LUNA) appears to be going against the trend. The coin is quite literally on free fall right now so it begs the question, is it a good buy? Well, more on that below but here are some highlights: In the last month alone, LUNA has seen a sharp decline, falling by nearly 50% during the period. At press time, LUNA was trading at $45, down 8% for the day and down nearly 25% over the past week. The negative sentiment, mostly associated with Terra’s connections with Magic Internet Money (MIM), will continue in the near term. Data Source: Tradingview.com  Is a recovery in sight for LUNA? Right now, it is quite possible that the free fall will continue at least in the foreseeable future. Besides, some investors are raising concerns that the Terra ecosystem could be in danger due to its association with the Anchor Protocol ...

Terra (LUNA) might drop 45% if the bearish head-and-shoulder holds

Image
Terra (LUNA) might drop to over $25 per token in the next few weeks. Harsh monetary policies began to harm bullish assets when they were slack. The price of LUNA is in danger of falling lower, but experts predict a comeback when the cryptocurrency challenges a stable multi-month trend line for security. According to an analytical assessment given by experts, Terra (LUNA) might fall to around $25 per token in the following weeks as a head-and-shoulders (H&S) arrangement develops, signaling a 50% price decline. When the price produces three peaks in succession, the middle peak (referred to as the "head") is higher than the other two (left and right shoulders). The "neckline" is a standard price floor that connects all three peaks. When the market falls below the H&S neckline, traders usually try to begin a short position. Before launching a short position, some traders use a "two-day" rule, in which they wait for the second breakout verif...

Shiba Inu (SHIB) and Dogecoin (DOGE) upsurge

Image
Meme coins have risen from relative obscurity to unprecedented popularity. Dogecoin (DOGE) and Shiba Inu (SHIB) achieved huge increases and are now in the top ten currencies in terms of market cap. Dogecoin began the year at USD 0.004681 and has since risen by over 15000 percent to USD 0.7376. Despite the massive price rise, Shiba Inu's returns dwarfed DOGE's, increasing over 70,000,000 percent and creating billionaires out of its early investors. The year 2021 was the year of meme coins. Almost all significant and well-known cryptocurrencies reached all-time highs, with Bitcoin and Ethereum having 134 percent and 563 percent gains, respectively. Shiba Inu (SHIB) price increases after a slow start in 2022 Shiba Inu has followed in the footsteps of Dogecoin since its inception in 2020. Self-styled as a DOGE-killer, it exceeded its canine cousin in terms of percentage gain in 2021. It fell in value at the start of the new year, following Dogecoin and the bulk of the res...

Decentraland (MANA) could rise after finding support at $1.75

Image
On Saturday, Decentraland (Mana) expands the consolidated movements. Expect the rally to continue beyond the $2.50 to $3.0 demand zone. A breach below $2.03 would invalidate the bull's hypothesis. The price of Decentraland has remained stable at current levels, making a hammer candlestick on January 22. Although there is less purchasing activity in cryptocurrencies, they are still building a bullish setup. MANA/USD is now trading at $2.31, up 1.23 percent on the day. The current market capitalization of MANA is $4,304,417,127 USD, with a current circulation of 1,824,500,835 MANA coins and without maximum supply. Decentraland (MANA) prepares for a U-turn The price has been on a downward trend on the daily charts since testing the 50-day moving average on December 27. The price had already dropped from all-time highs of $5.91 on November 25, a total value drop of 48 percent. Investors challenged the $3.06 level three times, a support-turned-resistance level. Image
Axie Infinity (AXS) , like most other metaverse and blockchain gaming tokens, has been falling sharply in the last few weeks or so. Nonetheless, we are starting to see some price consolidation. It seems the downtrend is stalling at least for now. But does this suggest a trend reversal is coming? At the time of writing, AXS was trading at $45, down around 5% in 24-hour intraday trading. Cardano’s price is struggling to rebound as Ada bulls face new hurdles

Image
– The price of Cardano is still entrenched in a consolidation trend. – As the token recovers from the bottom border of the prevalent trend line, ADA is striving to hit high degrees. – If Cardano falls below $1.00, the bulls will be in a difficult position. Cardano blockchain has sustained record performance for over two weeks because of the debut of SundaeSwap, the first decentralised exchange (DEX) to be live on Cardano. Notwithstanding the drop in the token’s price due to the continuous down market, the overall value recorded for the ADA blockchain achieved a new high of almost $80 million. Cardano pricing is trapped in a falling parallel channel pattern on the daily graph, indicating that the coin could move downwards. ADA has remained above the bottom limit of the prevalent trend line as dependable support at $1.00. The 38.2 percent Fibonacci retracement level at $1.19 will be the first resistance point for Cardano pricing. Source – TradingView The 50-day SMA at $1.28, whi...

Dogecoin (DOGE) declines below key support – Is the meme coin hanging by a thread?

Image
After experiencing a lot of selling pressure for the best part of the year, Dogecoin (DOGE)  has surged past a key support zone. The meme coin is now looking primed for a massive plunge and with the trend already being bearish, it would not be a surprise for DOGE to hit new lows. Here are some highlights. Dogecoin (DOGE) has slid below $0.15, a key support zone that bulls had protected fiercely in recent weeks. At the time of writing, DOGE was trading at $0.1448, down nearly 5% in 24-hour intraday trading. The meme coin is also way lower compared to the all-time highs it hit in 2021. IMF wants El Salvador to drop Bitcoin as legal tender

Image
El Salvador adopted Bitcoin as legal tender in September 2021 and wants to build a ‘Bitcoin city’ . The IMF says the cryptocurrency poses threats to the country’s financial stability and consumer protection . The International Monetary Fund (IMF) has advised El Salvador to reconsider its decision on Bitcoin as legal tender, citing several risks it says are associated with the use of the cryptocurrency. El Salvador became the first sovereign state to pass a law adopting Bitcoin as legal tender in May 2021. The Bitcoin Law became effective in September, making the cryptocurrency money and mandating its use across the country. The government distributed $30 (roughly £22) worth of Bitcoin to every citizen with a Chivo wallet account, with over 200 Bitcoin ATMs installed to aid in the adoption across businesses. Although the move faced several challenges earlier on, President Nayib Bukele has maintained the country will ensure the use of Bitcoin works. But the IMF has never war...

Crypto will have a hard time rallying until stocks find a base, says Mike Novogratz

Image
Crypto billionaire Mike Novogratz says markets are now in bear territory after recent sell-offs. In December last year, Galaxy Digital CEO Mike Novogratz said Bitcoin needed to hold support at the $42,000 level or risk further declines below $40,000. In a bullish outlook for crypto, the crypto billionaire noted that the pullback would however present a decent buying opportunity for institutional investors. This week has seen the broader crypto market track sell-off pressure in the equities, with Bitcoin and Ethereum both sliding below key support levels. According to Novogratz, the tumbling stocks have exacerbated the negative outlook across crypto and the drawdown seen in Nasdaq and other stock indexes means the bear market is here. Commenting on the crypto market outlook as well as the sell-off on Wall Street, he noted: “ The Russel index broke a major support and today’s roll over confirmed it’s broken. This is now a bear market. There is 1.2tr of bad equity longs above the m...

Here are three reasons behind the recent Propy (PRO) price surge

Image
The price of Propy (PROP) token saw an astronomical rise between January 10 and January 18, before going into the current pullback that is small compared to the kind of surge the token made. Propy (PROP) token is the native token of the Propy protocol, a protocol that integrates blockchain technology with the real estate sector by automating the whole process of home buying to make it simpler, secure, and faster. In the course of 2021, Non-Fungible Tokens (NFTs) had gained popularity through digital images like the CryptoPunks and Bored Ape Yacht Club. However, Propy is determined to expand the functionality of the NFTs past the digital art space into the real estate NFTs. Why the surge in Propy price? The recent Propy price surge was a result of the growing potential of NFTs for use in different cases, its token listing on Coinbase exchange, and the first sale of the real estate NFT. The Coinbase listing The price surge of the PRO token on 14th Jan was mainly contributed by the...
